How to Join

What does it cost to join?

It's absolutely FREE to join and list your products for sale on our site! There are no upfront costs or monthly fees. In addition, you get a free banner ad that will rotate on our homepage 24x7.

Who can join?

Any company or individual that manufactures products in the United States can list their products on the Localmakers.com website. Currently, we do not accept businesses that offer only services.

How it works

Fees after selling an item

Localmakers does charge a commission of 5% of the net sales price for selling item(s) when the listed item(s) is/are sold. There is a 3% charge to cover the bank fees charged to Localmakers for using our merchant account. PayPal® charges a transaction fee of 2% of the total order or $1, whichever is less, for making payment to your PayPal® account after you sell an item(s). Localmakers.com pays you through your PayPal account 5 days after you have shipped your item to the buyer.

Shipping Calculator

All merchants will have the option of choosing between the three carriers our Shipping Calculator offers: USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

Inventory Calculator

Using Localmakers’ inventory calculator, your product listing automatically is removed when the inventory for sale has been exhausted. No need for you to keep track of sales or to worry about not being able to fulfill large orders.

Register and set up your account
It's easy to register your company as a seller on Localmakers.com. Don't forget to enter your PayPal address so we can pay you when you sell an item.

Create your product listings
Add your product(s) and image(s). Select your preferred shipping method(s): Free Shipping, USPS, UPS, or FedEx and dimensions of item (weight, width, length, and height), and manufacturing information (zip code(s) of where your company is headquartered and manufactured).

Customers buy your products
Localmakers.com has started its advertising campaign to bring thousands of people to the site. By listing your items on our site, you will be able to reach potential customers every day.

Ship your product to your customer
Localmakers.com notifies you by email when you have an order. Simply pack and ship the order to your customer within 2-5 business days unless otherwise noted in your listing. Example: Items that are made to order. Our tool also provides vendors with a hand delivery or customer pick up option.

Localmakers transfers payment to your PayPal account
Localmakers.com deposits payment into your PayPal account 5 days after the order has been shipped and notifies you by email that payment has been sent.

Please have the following information before you begin:

Your business name, size, address, and contact information
Business bio and the list of products your business sells
Your sales person’s referral code (if applicable)
Your PayPal email address
